Veterinary Prices Carried out at the Centre

Mare Livery

• Mare Grass Livery in group       – £20 per day inc. all handling fees*
• Mare Stable Livery                       – £32.50 per day

*Prices include handling fees of mares for scanning/veterinary/farrier procedures.
Handling fees include transporting horses between fields when necessary and bringing in from fields to scan & Administration of medication inc. evenings.

• Mares with foal at foot               – £5 extra per day
• Foaling Livery                                 – £35.00 per day
• Foaling Fee                                     – £400 (Includes stitch in alarm)

Long term livery for mares and youngsters throughout the year is available at a much-reduced cost on long term agreements. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. 

Recipient Mare Hire                        Price may vary depending on location of recipient herd.

Stallion Prices

• Stallion Livery                                 – £32.50 per day

Basic care including walker/lunge or paddock daily.

For stallions standing at stud with us for the season, full promotion packages can be arranged. Please contact us to discuss.

Chilled/Fresh Semen Collections 

• Collection fee                                                 – £95
• Chill and pack UK                                         – £30
• Postage UK                                                     – £50
• Semen evaluation and extender tests  – £75

(To be carried out before first shipment of the season or at the time of dummy training upon request)

Frozen Semen Collections

• Collection fee (includes nitrogen use)	– £115
• Freezing One ejaculate	– £75
• Frozen extender tests and evaluation (first freeze only)	– £75
• Fee per dose collected (normally 4 to 6 straws per dose)	– £10.50

Additional Costs

• Frozen semen storage: 

First 1 -10 doses                    – £1 per dose per month

11-50 doses                          – 30p per dose per month

50 +                                       – 10p per dose per month
(E.g.  60 doses = £22.60 per month) 

• Straw Printing                                                                    – 38p per straw
• Straw Printer Set Up Fee (One off payment)                     – £19.50
• Frozen Semen shipping UK. (Tank must be returned within 5 days) –  £130
• Extenders – POA (Varies)

Dummy Training

Minimum 3 days 

£60 per day
