He has developed into one of the most promising young jumping stallions in the Netherlands. New Pleasure was champion of the KWPN Stallion Competition two years in a row and was reserve champion of the 6-year-olds at the Dutch Championships. As a 7-year-old, he finished 5th in the KWPN Championship and made a strong impression in Aachen, where he placed 2nd in the 7- and 8-year-old division. He also won twice in the Young Horse classes at Kessel and placed 2nd in Eindhoven

He was the winner of the KWPN Stallion Competition in 2023 and was 2nd in 2024 with Hessel Hoekstra.

His full brother Favorit Ask is especially popular in Denmark and is seen as a true foundation stallion. Grandam Ukase ter Putte also produced MoM’s Isaura – a daughter of Tinka’s Boy. Ridden by Ireland’s Cameron Hanley this mare competed at the highest level and later on represented Mexico ridden by Jose Antonio Chedraui Prom. Recently, the breeding syndicate Mares of Macha became the owner of Isaura and she is nowadays ridden by top rider Pieter Devos.
New Pleasure VDL’s great-granddam Quinette ter Putte also produced the famous Skyhorse, who ridden by Lillie Keenan is one of the best showjumpers in the United States.

New Pleasure has an excellent type and modern way of jumping; he excels with athletic ability, great reflexes and intelligence when jumping. In the KWPN Performance Test his potential really showed; New Pleasure scored no less than 87.5 points. For his scope, rideability and talent he received a 9.0.
